Originally built in 1955, and completely overhauled by prolific Malibu architect Doug Burdge, the mini-compound—spanning 5,033 square feet, with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms—is situated along a secluded stretch of beach and features resort-style grounds bordered by poetic, old-growth trees.

Wood and glass are used amply, sculpting the structures into the surrounding landscape— vanishing pocket doors and floor-to-ceiling windows provide a gallery-like experience to the blue sky panorama. An uncluttered living room, flush with views, is found on the ground floor of the main house, along dining area with a fireplace and chef’s kitchen.

Step outdoors, and there’s an oceanfront lounging deck and slender pool and spa. Head upstairs, and you’ll find much of the floor given over to a sprawling master suite surrounded by a wraparound deck.
